Traill County WRD approves routine business, sets direction for 2027–29 water plan

The Traill County Water Resource District convened March 17, 2026, in Hillsboro with Chairman Jason Siegert and Managers Joel Halvorson, Jason Lovas, Andy Neset and Gary Thompson present. The board approved the agenda (added Moen Drain No. 27), the minutes of the March 3 meeting, and payment of bills by unanimous roll call votes.
The board reviewed a drain balance spreadsheet and made no adjustments. Members directed Secretary-Treasurer Jessica Spaeth to proceed with the 2027–2029 Water Development Plan as discussed; Manager Thompson moved and Manager Lovas seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 10:18 a.m.
