Highway Department: road restrictions, summer hours approved; funding plan for grader under review

Martin said the department will keep advertising an open position and provided financing paperwork for a potential motor grader purchase; the Highway Department and Auditor's Office were instructed to identify funding sources to avoid entering a financing agreement that would incur additional finance charges. The board also approved KLJ as the engineering firm for upcoming work and was reminded that a bid opening for two bridge projects is set for March 31, 2026.
