The Mountrail County Commissioners on Dec. 2 authorized $305,694 from the Fire & Ambulance Fund to finance a new 2028 ambulance for the Plaza District after a presentation by Kenneth Ruud, president of the Parshall Rural Ambulance.
Ruud told the board the department has been supported by Liberty Township funds for its new building and that the old Parshall ambulance building was gifted to the Three Affiliated Tribes. The motion to approve the ambulance purchase passed unanimously by roll call.
