Board approves security manuals, election-equipment MOU and waives community event fee
Summary
The commissioners approved updated Memorial Building and Courthouse security manuals, authorized signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the North Dakota Secretary of State for election equipment, and waived a rental fee for a community event on Oct. 31, 2025.
The board approved the Memorial Building Security Manual/Mountrail McKenzie Human Service Zone security manual as recommended by Sheriff Corey Bristol and approved an updated Courthouse Security Manual provided by State’s Attorney Wade Enget. Commissioners also approved signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Office of the Secretary of State related to election equipment.
Separately, the board approved a waiver of the South Complex rental fee for The Pursuit’s Oct. 31 Fall Spectacular community event. The board appointed Lynnette Vachal as the ND State Fair delegate for 2026. These administrative approvals were recorded by unanimous roll call.
