County officials said the adoption followed discussion during the final budget hearing held earlier in the meeting. The board recorded the action as approving the county’s fiscal plan for 2026; the next formal opportunity to change the levy would require further official action. The hearing and vote occurred at about 12:10 p.m. on Oct. 7, 2025.
