Sheriff Corey Bristol met with the commissioners Sept. 16 to discuss the 2026 Sheriff, Disaster Emergency Services and 2019 Flood budgets and presented a quote from Reservation Telephone Cooperative (RTC) to upgrade cameras at the South Complex and Courthouse. The minutes record that Sheriff Bristol, Corrections Administrator Laurie Johnson and Facilities Manager Tammy Leupp will meet to discuss the camera project before the board moves forward with a decision.
The board recorded the presentation but did not vote to award a contract or allocate funds for the camera upgrade during this meeting. The item remains for follow-up after staff review, per the minutes.
