Road & Bridge Engineer Jana Hennessy presented several R&B items Sept. 16, and the commissioners approved advertising bids for CR10 and CR11 construction and paving. The authorized project descriptions included approximately 9 miles of reconstruction and 21.9 miles of paving for CR10/53rd St NW and related segments on CR11/67th Ave NW; the board approved advertising the work for bid with motions carried unanimously.
The board also approved Salt & Sand quotes with Gravel Products and Sundre Sand and Gravel, directing that purchases use the lowest quote first based on availability. Engineer Hennessy discussed an encroachment in the Sanish right-of-way and reviewed a private approach for Dale Brown on CR11 as part of routine Road & Bridge business; specific follow-up on right-of-way matters and approach approvals were recorded as discussion items.
