The Mountrail County Commissioners voted unanimously Sept. 16 to approve signing the U.S. Department of Interior’s revised Resource Management Plan (RMP) for the Bureau of Land Management. The motion was moved by Commissioner Jason Rice and seconded by Commissioner John DeGroot; all present voted yes.
County officials did not record extended discussion in the minutes but indicated the RMP item was before the board as written materials were provided. The action records the county’s approval to sign the revised RMP document submitted by the Department of Interior. The motion carried on a roll-call vote (Rice, Hollekim, DeGroot and Ruland voted yes). The board did not specify further county conditions or any follow-up tasks in the minutes.
