Renville County, Wold Engineering plan SRF grant submission and safety work at Grano curve

Jason Mayfield of Wold Engineering briefed the Board on Nov. 18: safety projects are nearly finished and he and Road Supervisor Sean Mattern will walk the projects with NDDOT. Mayfield said the Special Road Funding (SRF) grant program is open and he intends to submit the west access road into Mouse River Park for a chip seal and a parking lot at Grano Bridge intended for fishing access.
Road Supervisor Sean Mattern told the Board he will reduce the posted speed limit at the Grano curve to 25 mph. The minutes note ongoing maintenance tasks including sand-truck work, skid-steer repair and road sweeping; no SRF application amounts were recorded in the minutes.
