"I do think we probably need to come back, sharpen some pencils, and maybe come up with a plan to where everybody...the event and us do the scoring by the budget request," a council member said, indicating a preference for clearer internal processes and applicant submissions. Staff confirmed the recommendations tonight were only that—recommendations—and that nothing is final until the complete budget process runs its course.
