The Titonka City Council adopted two resolutions during the July 9 meeting. Resolution No. 26-27-01 (described in the minutes as related to House File 2490) sets agenda-posting practices: agendas will be posted on the bulletin board outside City Hall, at the Post Office, and at NSB Bank; if a previously posted agenda is amended, the amended posting must be marked “Amended” and identify the amended provisions not less than 24 hours prior to the meeting. The minutes record a roll-call vote with ayes from Sara Hamilton, Tyler Smith, Irvin Harms, and Mike Fredrickson; nays: none. The resolution passed.
The council also adopted Resolution No. 26-27-02 to name official signatories for the City of Titonka: Mayor Katie Prothman, Mayor Pro Tem Sara Hamilton, and City Clerk Casey Jo Garrett. The motion to adopt the naming of signatories was made by Mike Fredrickson and seconded by Tyler Smith; the minutes record the motion as passed. The minutes do not record any dissenting votes or additional procedural qualifications.
