The BCRFPD monthly board meeting on April 15, 2026 at Fairfield Rural Hall recorded the attendance of President Jon Klym, Secretary Corey Simnioniw, board members Sandy Baertsch, Kasey Malkowski, Dwayne Shypkoski and Don Fulton; Fire Chief Kyle Shockley and Assistant Fire Chief Cody Armbrust were also present and Vice President Brian Buckman was absent. The board reviewed the March 2026 minutes, corrected two typographical items and noted that Don Fulton had in fact been present at the March meeting. Don Fulton moved to approve the minutes with corrections and Kasey Malkowski seconded; the minutes state all present members voted in favor.
The board then considered routine financial items. An updated pledge report from 1st State Bank was presented; Dwayne Shypkoski moved to approve signing the reduced pledge agreement as presented and Kasey Malkowski seconded. The motion passed with all present members in favor. Sandy Baertsch moved to approve the financial statement and pay bills; Don Fulton seconded and the motion passed. Sandy Baertsch moved to adjourn; Don Fulton seconded and the meeting was adjourned.
