Officials warn isolation, quarantine duties may shift to counties, increasing fiscal burden

One member said, ‘‘If somebody has to go into isolation quarantine…we're on the hook for paying their needs, you know, their rent if they can't get out and work.’’ Members asked staff to identify likely cost drivers and present scenarios for budgeting at the next meeting.
