Titonka council adopts salary and transfer resolutions, approving 4% raises and new pay rates

The Titonka City Council on June 11 adopted Resolution No.25-26-15, approving a 4% merit increase for the superintendent, maintenance employees, and the city clerk, and setting the Deputy Clerk wage at $18.00 per hour. The resolution also set outside consultant pay at $40.00 per hour (no benefits, one-hour minimum) and indicated mayoral approval is required for consultant engagements.
The salary resolution was moved by Councilmember Mike Fredrickson and seconded by Sara Hamilton; the roll call vote recorded ayes from Hamilton, Prothman, Smith, Harms and Fredrickson and no nays. The council also adopted Resolution No.25-26-16 (a transfer resolution) on a motion by Sara Hamilton, seconded by Katie Prothman; that resolution likewise passed by unanimous roll call. The actions finalize the pay changes and internal transfers presented at the meeting.
