Annie Hansen of the county attorney's office (speaker 17) asked the commission to approve participation in a combined-subdivision participation release for the remaining six remnant defendants in the national opioid settlements. Hansen said this participation matches prior settlement agreements the county has signed and will allow Box Elder County to join with other Utah subdivisions in the claim process.
A motion to approve the participation release (Agreement 26-11) was moved and seconded and commissioners voted in favor. The county attorney will sign the release and move forward with the combined-subdivision filing.
