County amends County Agent budget and approves Weed Control/GIS salary band change

Commissioners voted to amend the 2026 County Agent budget from $157,429 to $186,729, an increase of $29,300 to account for employee benefits. County Agent Jim Hennessy presented the amendment and the motion passed by unanimous roll call.
On the recommendation of the Human Resource Advisory Committee, the board also approved changing the salary banding for the Weed Control Technician/GIS Specialist position from B23 to B24. Auditor Stephanie A. Pappa and Hennessy participated in the personnel discussion; the board recorded unanimous approval for the salary-band change.
