County accepts high bids at forfeited-land sale; three lots disposed or left unsold

At its Nov. 18 meeting, the Mountrail County Commissioners opened bidding for tax-forfeited lands and accepted high bids for several lots. The board accepted a $100 bid from Logan Cress for Lot 13, Block 14, Coulee Village and a $3,800 bid from Clover Little Soldier for Lot 8, Block 18, Original Townsite, Parshall City; Lot 20, Block 5, Original Townsite, Stanley City received no bids.
The board then moved to close the sale; all motions were adopted by unanimous roll call. Commissioners recorded the transaction results and directed county staff to complete conveyance paperwork for successful bidders.
