At a 9:30 A.M. public hearing, petitioners Charles and Roberta Ramberg asked the Mountrail County Commissioners to close a section line that crosses Kristiansand Cemetery. Charles Ramberg told the board the purpose of the closure was "to stop the travel through the cemetery." The board voted unanimously to approve the described closure, a stretch of section line measuring 2,375 feet.
The motion formalizes the closure between Section 32, Township 156 North, Range 94 West (Myrtle Township) and Section 5, Township 155 North, Range 94 West (Unorganized Township). Commissioners recorded the vote and directed staff to document the change in county records.
