Commissioners approve administrative purchases, evaluation form and 2026 preliminary budget

During the Aug. 5 meeting the board moved to approve purchase of a laptop computer and docking station from NRG Technologies for use in the commissioners' room; the motion was moved by Commissioner Jamee Hansen, seconded by Commissioner Rick Haman and carried unanimously. The Aug. 19 session included approval of an Employee Performance Evaluation form (motion carried unanimously) and routine approvals of travel requests, officers reports, July payroll and minutes.
The board also moved by unanimous vote on Aug. 5 to approve the 2026 preliminary budget as presented (motion recorded as moved by Commissioner Hansen and seconded by Commissioner Haman). County Auditor LeAnn M. Pollman confirmed she was not aware of any resignation by Deputy Dewbre when asked by the board. The meeting adjourned at 11:00 a.m. on Aug. 19.
