County agrees to update Flex Fund application for Lake Schutte Road; approves adding cubic yards to Martin Pit contract

The board agreed to update the Flex Fund application to include the additional two miles and to reshape four miles, regrade and gravel two miles.
"Wold Engineering looked at Lake Schutte Rd and they measured the width on 6.5 miles. The last 2 miles narrows. If they add 2 miles on to road project the total applying for would be around 2 million," the record states. The board directed staff to update the Flex Fund application accordingly.
Separately, Jerry Martin raised a concern about the Martin Pit, saying the second pile had been mixed during hauling and he felt shorted on the 4,850 cubic yards measured by Wold. The board moved to change the agreement to add the extra cubic yards; the motion passed unanimously.
"Martin Pit the second pile has been mixed with hauling. Jerry Martin feels like he was shorted in the 4850 cubic measured by Wold," the minutes report. The board approved an amendment to the agreement to add the additional cubic yards.
