Board adopts resolution affirming sufficiency of instructional materials

The hearing closed with no public testimony and trustees moved and adopted the resolution.
"The resolution does indicate the subject areas in terms of sufficient materials and instructional materials for all of our students... that includes our English language learners," staff said while summarizing the resolution language. The board then called the question and recorded aye votes to adopt the resolution.
Why it matters: districts must certify sufficiency of materials for state reporting and to ensure all students, including English learners, have access to standards-aligned instructional resources. The board adopted the resolution as presented.
