MERP project progresses; town files fifth reimbursement request and schedules remaining commissioning

Chair Andrea Treadway reported that Tom Purdy, Clerk of the Works, is overseeing the MERP (Municipal Energy & Resilience Project) work and that a licensed master plumber is handling commissioning at the firehouse. Andrea said the Ansel system remains pending and that All Points Construction met with Impact Fire about the system on July 23.
The board discussed postponing attic insulation at the Town Garage until cooler hours to finish work by September 1 and Andrea said she submitted the town’s fifth request for reimbursement under the MERP implementation grant. All Points Construction indicated a desire to consolidate efficiency testing at the end of the project schedule.
