RDA approves Box Elder County 2025 budget, sets aside funds for broadband

An RDA staff member who presented the draft budget told commissioners the document contained few changes from the tentative version and that she "did put enough in to pay for the broadband, assuming that that will happen next year because I haven't seen any invoices yet." The staff member said the budgets were smaller overall and that no major revisions had been made since the tentative budget.
The budget vote followed no substantive debate on revenues or major line-item changes; commissioners asked few questions and accepted staff explanation. The action was recorded as RDA resolution 24 0 2 and passed on a unanimous voice vote. The meeting then moved on to the next agenda item.
