Anna Golann, Town Clerk, presented proposed changes to the Town website, payroll and benefits processes to improve uniformity and accuracy and described an initial digitization plan to preserve town records. Golann said the proposed changes would cost approximately $5,800 and estimated labor savings of about $36,000 while maintaining Town Office hours.
Chair Andrea Treadway reminded the board the Town Clerk’s budget is not governed by the Select Board but the board voiced support and encouraged the clerk and assistant clerk to proceed with planning and to return with details as needed.
