Planning commission schedules public hearing on Enhanced Energy Plan for May 15

The Commission set a public hearing for the Enhanced Energy Plan for May 15, 2025 at 6:30 PM, asked RRPC for updated solar potential maps and will invite the Select Board to review the plan at the April meeting.
Robb Spensley reported that the Commission received solar potential maps through 2020 and requested updated maps from the RRPC; he also proposed the Planning Commission hearing date. Ann Reed said the Plan will be posted on the Town website and physical copies will be made available, and that abutters, the Department of Housing and Community Development and the RRPC must be provided copies as part of the hearing process.
The Planning Commission scheduled its public hearing on the Enhanced Energy Plan for May 15, 2025 at 6:30 PM and agreed to invite the Select Board to attend the Commission’s April meeting to review the Energy Plan ahead of the hearing. Spensley suggested the Lothrop School as a backup location for the hearing if needed.
