Bel-Nor Board flags sign ordinance, No Mow May and licensing rules for review

During the work session the Board reviewed a list of policies and ordinances for possible revision as the strategic plan progresses. Items called out for future examination included updates to the sign ordinance, consideration of No Mow May or Low Mow-related rules, dog tax or licensing requirements, vehicle registration sticker requirements, and property maintenance and inspection practices. The Board also discussed communication policies and the need for clear board procedures and onboarding materials.

Members emphasized that these items are candidates for future review rather than finalized policy changes. The planning process will determine whether and how to move forward on ordinance amendments, with staff preparing supporting documentation and comparisons with other municipalities where appropriate.
