The board accepted the resignation of Sharon Gaverick, CES aide, and recorded community donations at its Oct. 1 meeting.
The minutes list donations: Mike Stein Office Supply to the business office; Rebecca DeSarbo provided clothing to Mason Middle School; Chandra Fowler donated clothing and a backpack to Mason Middle School; and Rocky Jacobs donated funds to bring magician Andrew Martin to Mason Middle School in memory of his son Matt Jacobs. The board also approved hiring Haleigh Edmonds as a CES IF aide at an hourly rate of $14.85, contingent on favorable criminal history and background checks. The motion to hire was made by England, supported by Waller, and carried 4-0.
The resignation was acknowledged and no additional personnel actions were recorded beyond the hire and routine approvals on the consent agenda.
