City Manager: one-year police union contract ratified; streamlined steps and 2% COLA

The City Manager said the contract has been ratified by the union and will be placed on the Aug. 4 council agenda for council action. Councilors thanked the negotiating teams for reaching agreement and noted the one-year approach preserves flexibility depending on the state ballot outcome.
