Commission appoints Jay Capener and Kelly Lemmon to Bear River Water Conservancy District board

Commissioner Bingham moved to appoint two members to the Bear River Water Conservancy District board. He said the Bear River Canal Company recommended reappointing Jay Capener to represent the canal company and recommended Kelly Lemmon (listed in the record as Kelly Lehi in one exchange) to represent small water systems. Commissioner Summers seconded the motion and commissioners approved both appointments.
Commissioner Bingham said a third opening remains and the commission will place that appointment on the Dec. 18 agenda. Staff will process onboarding for the two appointed members.
