"Each of them has gone above and beyond in their efforts to seek justice and closure for the case," the chair said. Commissioners and attendees acknowledged the sacrifices of staff working nights, weekends, and holidays and said certificates and a team lunch will be provided.
The recognition was ceremonial; no formal policy action was taken. County leaders said appreciation events and certificates will be distributed to employees involved.
