The Kiskiminetas Township Board of Supervisors approved purchasing a Public Works F-550 from Laurel Auto Group with an upfit by SEI at its July 22 workshop.
Township Manager Murray told the board that although the Stephenson quote was more expensive, it "most addresses the Township's needs," and that the cheaper provider's package would likely be insufficient for required upfits. Murray said Public Works had consulted with the selected provider on the exact upfits needed before presenting options to the board.
Supervisor Tardivo moved to approve the Laurel Auto Group purchase and SEI upfit; Supervisor Hilliard seconded and the motion passed unanimously among attending supervisors. Staff will proceed with procurement and finalize upfit specifications for the Public Works vehicle.
