Council approved a motion to purchase and install a "James Callahan Hall" sign from Vennefron Signs at a cost of $2,325 during its Feb. 4 meeting. The motion (Melville/Okura) passed unanimously, Aye 6 Nay 0.
The sign purchase was raised by Council Member Melville, who also reported that Public Works continued moving snow on the streets. Mayor James Hamberg said the City will submit winter-response costs for reimbursement after Governor Beshear declared an emergency for the weather event in Kentucky; no specific reimbursement amounts were provided at the meeting.
