Council Member Melville reported that the community center’s small-hall air conditioner was replaced and that a separate furnace problem was fixed; he cautioned the furnace may need full replacement in the next fiscal year. Melville also said NKY Water District finished work on Valley View and Blossom and that the City will put the follow-up project out to bid in January.
Public Works staff are continuing street repairs on Shaler and installing the city's holiday decorations. Council noted Public Works Foreman Bowman was absent from the meeting; no funding motion or bid award was made at this session.
