WEDC board approves Dec. minutes and proposes moving monthly meetings to third Monday

At its Jan. 27 meeting the WEDC board approved the Dec. 9, 2025 minutes and agreed in principle to shift its standing monthly meeting from the fourth Tuesday to the third Monday beginning in April; the change will be formalized by resolution in February.
The WEDC Board approved the minutes of its Dec. 9, 2025 meeting and discussed a proposed calendar change for 2026.
Chairperson David Fantuzzo opened discussion on moving the organization’s monthly Board of Directors meeting from the fourth Tuesday to the third Monday beginning in April; board members present expressed agreement and asked that the proposed calendar change be authorized by resolution at the February meeting. Kaye Stone-Gansz moved to approve the minutes and Kenneth VanFleet seconded; all present voted in favor.
The decision to defer the formal calendar change to the February meeting gives members time to verify scheduling and notify stakeholders. The next regular meeting following this discussion was set for Feb. 24, 2026.
