Commissioner Bob Paplow moved for approval and Commissioner Robert S. Demuth seconded the motion; the resolution was passed by the board.
County staff told the board that to receive MnDOT funding the county must pass a resolution assuming full responsibility for operation and maintenance of the improvements for the useful life of the project. The project is positioned as part of broader resurfacing work scheduled for 2026–2027 along CSAH 35.
