Council to send letter to Sen. Collins urging protection of FTA funding

The council agreed to send a letter of support encouraging ongoing FTA funding for state and local transit programs.
Why it matters: The Community Connector relies on federal capital funding; a substantial reduction in FTA grants would affect the system's ability to maintain or expand service. Staff will prepare a draft letter for the council to transmit to Sen. Collins.
