Planning Commission names officers, appoints representative to EDA housing subcommittee

At the March 10 meeting commissioners completed officer nominations and secret ballots per bylaws. Jared Burner was nominated and continued as Chairman; Catherine Grech was nominated and elected Vice Chairman after William Turner declined the nomination; Sandy Davis was nominated and elected Secretary; staff member Josh Hahn was nominated and elected Clerk. Mr. Hahn announced the results at the close of the meeting.
Commissioners also appointed Commissioner Sandy Davis as the Planning Commission representative to the EDA Housing Subcommittee, which will restart meetings in April. The motion to appoint Davis passed unanimously. Chairman Burner adjourned the meeting at 8:13 p.m. Staff encouraged members of the public to contact Planning staff if they want to participate in the STR policy process.
