Residents press council for safer Circle K crosswalk; ADOT to install HAWK signal

In council reports later in the meeting Mayor Johann Wallace said he had met with Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) officials and that ADOT will remove the existing crosswalk and install a new crosswalk with a HAWK overhead red-light signal at Clark and 90. The minutes do not specify a construction timeline or funding source for the ADOT work.
