County approves sheriff deputy pay increase and classification for Family Service Specialist

Commissioner Wayne Olson moved, and Commissioner John DeGroot seconded, approval of a salary increase for Brehm Wiley following completion of a satisfactory probationary period; the salary was set at $33.17 per hour ($69,000 annually). The motion carried by roll call with all present voting yes.
The board also approved classifying Breanna Fethkenher as a regular full‑time employee in the position of Family Service Specialist III with compensation at $30 per hour ($62,400 annually). That motion, moved by Commissioner Joan Hollekim and seconded by Commissioner John DeGroot, passed by roll call vote.
