InfoSoup transition will pause the current app Aug. 7; Algoma branch closed Aug. 14–15

Kewaunee County libraries said the current InfoSoup app will stop working Aug. 7; during the week of Aug. 10 branches will remain open for most services, but the Algoma library will be closed Aug. 14–15 to complete the transition.
Library staff warned patrons that the current InfoSoup app will stop functioning beginning Aug. 7 while the system is migrated to the refreshed catalog and new mobile app. Staff member 1 said that although the app will be paused, libraries will remain open during the week of Aug. 10 for most services, including checkouts, shelf browsing, public computers, Wi‑Fi, reading and study space, play areas, printing and scanning.
Staff member 2 specifically noted that the Algoma branch will be closed Aug. 14–15 as part of the transition and that some services across branches may operate differently for a few days. Staff emphasized that staff will be available to answer questions and assist patrons during the changeover and encouraged patrons to follow library social channels for updates.
