Robert Vaughn, serving as interim manager for ORMICS/ORHC ambulance operations, updated the council on fleet and staffing. Vaughn described a staffing plan that aims to maintain five ambulances ready at all times and a 5/10/15-year replacement schedule for fleet planning. He reported seven interviews had been conducted with offers extended to several candidates; the goal is to staff two crews on day and night shifts and reopen the 10 a.m.–10 p.m. '10-22' line to provide three crews during a historically busy period.
