Board holds executive session on personnel and property matters; approves personnel actions

The board entered Executive Session at 11:04 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2025 pursuant to Ohio Revised Code section 121.22(G)(1) to consider employment matters and (G)(2) to consider purchase or sale of property and other disposition of county property. The board returned to Regular Session at 12:12 p.m. and the minutes state no action was taken while in Executive Session.
Later in the afternoon the board approved the addition of personnel actions to the agenda at the request of County Administrator Thomas J. Eigel; those personnel actions were then approved by unanimous roll call. Clerk Gael Fawley asked the board to consider moving the Oct. 15, 2025 Regular Session due to a scheduling conflict; the board deferred a final decision to a future meeting.
