Both awards were contingent upon issuance of purchase orders and commencement upon Notice to Proceed with 180‑day completion schedules recorded in the minutes.
Separately, the Board executed Change Order Number 1 with Queen City Mechanicals for the Weaver Road Water Petition (Part 2) project. The change order decreases the contract price by $17,218.50 for a total adjusted contract price of $161,649.00 and includes a non‑compensable extension of 119 calendar days, moving the revised contract completion date to 06/03/2025 as noted in the record. County Administrator Thomas J. Eigel explained the animal shelter work covers replacement of washer, dryer and dishwasher equipment.
