Clermont County advances water-system projects and advertises several bid solicitations

On Sept. 3, 2025, the Clermont County Board of Commissioners approved multiple Water Resources Department actions: acceptance of a permanent water easement for the Chapel Road Water Main Replacement Project (Project No. 6401-60234) with compensation totaling $660.13 to the grantor; adoption of a resolution to make improvements and advertise for bids for the Old SR 74 Water Main Replacement (Project No. 6401-60224) with a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting set for Oct. 16, 2025 and bids due Oct. 30, 2025; and adoption of a resolution to advertise for bids for the Water Resources Department Maintenance Building Expansion & Renovation (Project Nos. 6401-60238 and 6402-60238) with a pre-bid meeting on Sept. 25, 2025 and bids due Oct. 9, 2025.
The board also approved a request to advertise for bids for furnishing and delivery of chemicals for the county waterworks system, with a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on Sept. 25, 2025 and bids due Oct. 2, 2025. All motions passed by roll call with Commissioners Batchler, Corcoran and Painter voting Yes as recorded in the minutes.
