The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on Sept. 10 adopted the 2026 rate schedule for the Telecommunications Division, effective Jan. 1, 2026. The schedule sets charges meant to recover incremental costs from system users and specifies voice plans, cellular plans, data allowances, hardware prices and labor rates.
Examples included in the schedule: a State of Ohio flat rate of $0.07 per minute and $14.00 per month; a public safety smartphone plan at $47.00–$52.00 per month depending on hotspot capability; configuration and labor rates at $45.00 per hour; and equipment pricing such as voice jacks at $13.50 each and Cat6 cable at $0.33 per foot. The Board approved the schedule by motion as part of the consent agenda.
The schedule will be used by county departments to budget telecommunications costs for 2026. Questions about individual line items should be directed to the county Information Systems Department, which prepared the schedule.
