The Clermont County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 127-25 to support Valley View Nature Preserve’s application to the Clean Ohio Green Space Conservation Program for habitat restoration work on 69 acres in Clermont County. The land was originally purchased with Clean Ohio Round 3 funds in 2004. Commissioner David L. Painter stated explicitly during discussion that this action is a renewal/upgrade request, not a purchase of property.
The resolution passed by unanimous roll call. The record shows this is a support resolution to accompany the preserve’s grant application; any grant award or project work will proceed under the grant program rules and environmental review requirements.
