County signs CDBG subrecipient grants totaling $225,000 for home repair and homeless outreach

The Clermont County Board of Commissioners executed Subrecipient Grant Agreements under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for Fiscal Year 2024. The grants include: $100,000 to Clermont County Senior Services for a Home Safety Repair Program, $100,000 to the Clermont County General Health District for a Homeowner Septic Rehabilitation Program, and $25,000 to Streetlight Ministry for a Homeless Outreach Program. Each contract term runs from Oct. 1, 2024, through Sept. 30, 2026.
The Board approved the agreements as part of consent items and voted unanimously. County staff indicated the projects are funded with FY2024 CDBG allocations and will be administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development; the contracts are contingent upon release of the required purchase orders.
