Budget board approves internal transfers including $350,414 to District 3 capital outlay

The Cleveland County Budget Board voted March 10 to approve a set of internal fund transfers to cover operating and capital needs. Jacob McHughes moved the transfers and Marilyn Williams seconded; the motion passed with Rod Cleveland, Douglas Warr, Pam Howlett, Chris Amason, Jacob McHughes and Marilyn Williams voting yes.
The approved transfers included $500 from General Fund Excise/Equalization Board salary (100180-51000) to M&O (100180-54000); $5,000 to M&O and $60,000 to capital outlay for the General Court Clerk Fund (100161); and $350,414 from District 3 Highway Fund M&O (110930-54000) to District 3 Highway Fund Capital Outlay (110930-55000). Several other smaller intra-fund transfers were recorded on the motion sheet presented to the Board.
