Joan Stordalen, supervisor of the Children's Unit, told the board that children's programs have remained very busy and staff are planning summer activities and camps while managing increased caseloads.
Stordalen said the county is seeing growth in children's mental health services, with three staff currently carrying full caseloads, and noted a significant rise in screened-in child protection reports that is adding workload pressure on staff.
