Rockport students score statewide honors as community donates to DECA

Student advisory member Mariana Divanadictus told the committee about recent student achievements, including elementary participation in the choral summit, high school theater productions, and 16 Rockport students competing at DECA States. Superintendent Mark Branca highlighted the Project Lead the Way winners and the district’s arts and music recognition.
Branca also thanked community donors who contributed to student competition travel: "A big thank you, to Nassella Paving for donating $2,500 to our DECA program. Thank you to the Institution for Savings for also donating $2,500. And thank you to Cape Ann Savings Bank for donating $2,500," he said. Branca framed the recognition as evidence that "the community steps up time and time again for us."
